Hotel Mío Tulum

The rooms look bad – there are cobwebs, dead bugs, and mold on the blinds. It's a shame, because if the hotel were maintained, it would be really beautiful. It's on a noisy street, but there is hot water, air conditioning, and comfortable beds. For the price, it's quite okay.

It was a nice looking enough place and was in a good location. A few things to note though: they don't have toilet seats at all which is pretty strange, the "vault" which only one of our rooms had was tiny and light so if someone were to steal it they could just grab the entire vault in one hand and walk out so it's not protecting much. It says that breakfast is included but it's just coffee and toast so you will probably want to get your breakfast elsewhere. The hotel does the job, just not quite what you would expect from the listing. There's always a staff out front and they are nice and everything so we enjoyed our stay but it would have been nice to know about the lack of toilet seats and the lack of a real breakfast in advance.

I recently stayed at Hotel Mio Tulúm and had a wonderful experience. My room was spacious and elegantly decorated. The staff at the hotel were exceptional, always friendly and eager to assist with my needs or inquiries. Breakfast in the morning was very simple, but enough. The hotel’s location was ideal, situated close to the vibrant center of Tulum. The only thing I have to bring to the attention was a weird smell in the bathroom every time we used the shower. Overall, my stay at Hotel Mio Tulum was great. I highly recommend to anyone looking to enjoy reasonably priced hotel with a great location.

We stayed for one night when we arrived late in Tulum and the hotel was perfect for that. The staff were super friendly and able to check us in late. Our room was basic but spacious with working A/C. Location is central and easy to get to great places to eat. The hotel provides a basic breakfast but you need to get down early before it’s all gone.
